Here is John Vojtech's stunningly superdetailed 1/72 scale AC-130H Hercules.

John's model took the award for Best Aircraft in the show, won the Popular, Best in Show award, and First Place in 1/72 scale Turboprop / Glider.

This achievement should be considered in light of the fact that this was by far the most populous competition in IPMS USA Nationals history, with more than 3,200 entries.

This is a truly breathtaking model, in photos and in person!
