This image depicts a Messerschmitt Bf 109G-12 - 3ª Squadriglia, 2° Gruppo Caccia, based at Aviano, December 1944.

The image is based on another depiction that I created for this aircraft, which can be seen in 'Camouflage and Markings of the Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana, 1944-45' by Ferdinando D'Amico & Gabriele Valentini.
