Messerschmitt Bf 109K-4

Hasegawa's 1/32 scale Bf 109K-4 is available online from Squadron.com

Description

This is my last model which is the new release from Hasegawa of the Messerschmitt Bf 109K-4 in 1/32 scale.

The kit is superb to built and was a real pleasure to paint.

I updated the kit with all the MDC resin parts available, such as the cockpit, the sipnner, the exhausts, the complete tail well, the tank rack and the drop tank itself. All these parts fits very well with a minimum of work being required.

My model has been painted ree hand with Gunze acrylics colors, and the markings have been painted with Cutting Edge masks, including the spiral on the spinner.

I would like to thank my friend Vincent for all his help, Bob Brown from MDC for all the resin parts and Claes Sundin for help regarding the colors of this plane.

The aircraft represents Einrich Hackler "Yellow 10" from I/JG77 lost during operation Bodenplatte on January 1 1945.
