CAC Boomerang

Here is my recent painting of a CAC Boomerang. It is not airbrushed like other works I have done. I liked the challenge of hand painting for a change. I wanted to capture the aircraft flying low over the jungle canopy as it may have done in gound support roles. This aircraft, QE-Y, is a CA-13 Boomerang of No 4 Squadron RAAF based ar Cape Gloucester in May 1944.
