This artwork was made last summer, just in time for the 359th Fighter Group annual reunion. It was made at the request of Tim Gagnon for whom I previously made the "Little Friends" artwork ( http://www.hsgalleries.com/gallery04/littlefriendsro_1.htm ).

The artwork was intended for the children of Ray Wetmore, a famous 22+ kill ace of WW2, as well as the owner of a restored P-51D which currently flies in Wetmore's personal colour scheme: "Daddy's Girl".
