F/A-18B Hornet

Hasegawa's 1/48 scale F-18D is available online from Squadron.com

This RAAF F/A-18B was built using a Hasegawa 1/48 scale F-18D kit but with the vertical tail stabilizers from an F-18A.

The cockpit was replaced with a Black Box F18B set, and the SUU 20 dispensers and AIM 9L sidewinders were from the Hasegawa Weapons sets.

The kit was finished as a 2OCU trainer just after the dummy catapult launch bar was refitted.
