Description

Here is my profile of a Fiat CR 25.

This plane (as say my husband, the real modeler of my home) was the poor brother of Beaufighter and the Messerschmitt Bf 110.

It had the same motors of the Fiat CR 42 (840 hp) and a maximum speed of about 490 km/h. It could fly Rome-Berlin non stop.

There were 3 guns 12,7 mm (one in the turret and 2 fixed in the nose) and only 12 were manufactured. The Fiat CR.25 was used as convoy escort over the Mediterranean sea. This aircraft type had an enviable statistic - none were shot down by enemy fire in all the war.
