Description

Here is my artwork of the French Crusader, from delivery to the early all grey period. These Crusaders were able to carry Sidewinders, Matra 530, and Magic 550.

The illustration started as a drawing of the Crouze, scanned, then colored with Adobe Photoshop.

The best documentation book on the subject, is Les Crusader francais en action, 2 edition, by Jean-Marie Gall. You got everything on the French Crouze in that book!

Crusader no: 3 lasted until 1999, while Crusader no. 16 served as airframe undergoing fatigue testing from 1986. Crusader no: 19 was preserved after it period of active service finished in 1997.
