"Galland's Doras"

Having built a 3d Focke-Wulf Fw 190D on the computer some time ago, I decided to do a new piece of artwork featuring the colourful Dora's of JV-44.

I wanted to feature the four known aircraft in the image so I thought I would show them taking off on a warm spring day.

To give the composition less of a staged feel I tilted my camera to give a sense of urgency to the scene, almost like the cameraman is in the process of ducking as the Doras fly overhead.

Anyway, hope you all like it!
