Verlinden 1/16 scale figure

When a good friend of mine asked me to build and paint this figure for him, how could I refuse?

The figure is from Verlinden in 1/16 scale, and it is fantastic. In addition to the Fallschirmjager figure, this set also includes the section of Ju 52 surrounding the door.

Everything went together well with minimal cleanup and virtually no gaps to fill. He has been painted in an early-war scheme using Tamiya and Vallejo acrylic paints, apart from the flesh tones that were done with Testor's Model Master enamels.

In summary, this was a fun project. If 1/16 is your scale, go out and get one!
