Nakajima Ki-115 Tsurugi

Eduard's 1/48 scale Tsurugi is available online from Squadron

Here is the model of the Nakajima Ki-115 Tsurugi (Sabre), an aircraft built during the last months of WWII by the Japanese. The aircraft was born during desperate times and was of very simple construction, being built with suicide bombing in mind.

Flight testing showed that the aircraft had a number of deficiencies but production still went on, about 104 being built.

Apparently none were used operational.

This is the 1/48 scale Eduard Profipack kit, built straight from the kit, with no major problems. Weathering, washes and drybrushing was done with oils and kept to a minimum.
