Dragon's 1/72 scale M1A1 Abrams is available online from Squadron

Here is Dragon's 1/72 scale M1A1 built straight from the box.

This model was photographed at the ACT Scale Modellers' Society Annual Competition held during May 2005 in Canberra, Australia's national capital.

Each year, the club offers the Sentinel Shield, in which modellers must build a specified kit using only the contents of the box. The choices offered for this year's Sentinel Shield were:

• Dragon 1/72 M1A2 Abrams 4th Infantry Division (National Training Centre) [kit 7216]

• Dragon 1/72 M1A1 Abrams 3rd Infantry Division (Iraq 2003) [kit 7215]

• Dragon 1/72 M1A1 Abrams with Mine Plough [kit 7213]

The Sentinel Shield drew a nice selection of entries in the 2005 ACTSMS competition.
