3D Virtual Messerschmitt

These images were created in the autumn of 2004 for John Baxter's latest book "The Alternate Luftwaffe, volume 2".

The images show the Messerschmitt Me P 1091 a Stufe III (I didn't make this up, honestly!!!) intercepting an F-12 Rainbow reconnaissance aircraft at extremely high altitude.

"Projekt 1091" was never built, but its development would eventually lead to the Blohm & Voss Bv 155.
