Zvezda's 1/72 scale MiG-29 is available online from Squadron.com

Description

The first time I saw the "Sniper", I was deeply impressed by the deep blue Romanian Fulcrum.

After finding the decal of "Sniper" in a Hasegawa MiG-29 kit, I came up to project building the "Sniper" using 3 kits:Airfix (main used), ICM(Windscreen and wings used) and Hasegawa (Decal).

As for accessories, I used resin R-60 missiles and resin exhaust nozzles from Czech Tally Ho!, as well as PE set for Fulcrum from Czech Eduard.

Firstly, I made some modification in order to make the ICM windscreen fit the Airfix fuselage. No special skill or equipment needed - just sanding and dry-fitting with plenty of patience.

The resin R-60 missiles are just perfect. In addition, I scratch-built R-27ER and R-40 missiles using plastic rods and sheet.

The edge of Airfix kit must be thickened to use ICM wings. After assembly, I added rivets to the bird.
