Hasegawa's 1/48 scale George is available online from Squadron.com

Here is Jamie Davies' Hasegawa1/48 scale Kawanishi N1K2-J Shiden Kai "George".

Paint chipping was achieved via the "salting" method.

The photos were taken with a Nikon D70 digital camera fitted with a 24-120mm AF-S VR lens. The camera was set to Aperture Priority, with the aperture at F.32.

Jamie's model was in competition at the recent Melbourne Model Expo 2005.
