P-47D Thunderbolt "Angie"

Hasegawa's 1/48 scale P-47D Thunderbolt Bubbletop is available online from Squadron.com

Hasegawa's 1/48 scale P-47D was finished straight from the box with the only modification being the use of the Aires cockpit detail set. The markings are the kit decals.

The kit is finished in Testor’s metalliser polished and Non Buffing Aluminium. Xtra Color paints were used for all other colours.

The wash to highlight panel lines and control surfaces was Windsor Newton burnt sienna and raw umber thinned with linseed oil.
