Tamiya's 1/48 scale P-47D Bubbletop is available online from Squadron

This is my 1/48 scale Tamiya P-47D Thunderbolt Bubbletop. It's very nice model with a beautifully detailed cockpit.

I used Eduard's photo-etched P-47 Placard set, Eduard's Gunbay and Aires Gunbay for Hasegawa's Thunderbolt kit in this project.

The model was painted with Agama metal color and Gunze colors.

I used oil paints to lightly weather the model.

I really enjoyed building this model. It was just about perfect!
