Description

Here is a little diorama that was recently entered at the Battalion Model competition and ended up being the winner in the Diorama category.

It depicts a Panzer crew desperately bailing out of their vehicle after being hit and being badly damaged during heavy fighting in the battle of Kursk.

The kit is Tamiya's 1/35 scale Panzer IV Ausf. H, built from the box, with the additions of Dragon tracks, and scratchbuilt transmission detail under the inspection hatch.

The figures are a mixture of Dragon , Verlinden and Warriors.

Painting was done by hand, except for the base coat on the Panzer as Eamon has no airbrush. This just shows the talent put into this work, considering the high quality of the overall finish. Job well done!
