Description

Here is my cartoon of a PV-1 "Ventura" from VPB-150 'Devilfish P-viators' in the Marianas 1945.

I was lucky to receive help from Alan Carey, author of 'PV-1 Ventura Squadrons of WW2' (published by Osprey), about the markings of this bird.

The French text is difficult to translate, but there is a play on words as 'PV' means a police notice for un-authorized parking. In this case, the Japanese get 'PV' for un-authorized parking on the atolls.

Have fun!
