Here is my 1/72 scale S-2 Tracker from Hasegawa.

I assembled it as a Força Aérea Brasileira (Brazilian Air Force) one. It was built straight from the box and I used FCM decals to finish it.

Here in Brazil the Tracker had the designation of P-16, and was used by the 1o Grupo de Aviação Embarcada (1st Shipboard Aviation Group), at the carrier A-11 Minas Gerais, from 1961 until 1987, when the Trackers left the service of the FAB. According to political facts the Brazilian Navy can operate only helicopters, but never aeroplanes until the 90´s, so the Air Force had to make it at the Navy´s carrier!

Now our new Carrier is the A-12 Sao Paulo (ex-Foch of French Navy) equipped with a Group of A-4 Skyhawks, now operated by Navy pilots.
