Here is Hasegawa's old 1/72 scale SBD Dauntless kit.

I was inspired by an SBD that I saw at the Dayton Air Show three years ago.

The model was rebuilt and detailed. The biggest task was drilling the holes in the dive brakes!

Most of the markings were cut from paper masks and sprayed.

The in-flight photos were taken through a sheet of glass, and all the outdoor photos were shot against the natural sky.
