Accurate Miniatures' 1/48 scale Yak-1 is available online from
Squadron.com
This is a model that I built during a severe bout of
'Young Children and Too Much Work Induced AMS'. Even though it was a
nice little kit, I struggled to make the few corrections that were
necessary such as to block in the views into the intakes.
I was warned that the number 44 was slightly wrong
for the actural aircraft but I simply used the kit decals.
The figures are by Hecker & Goros.
 Model
Master enamels were used throughout.
