This is my model of Tamiya’s 1/24 scale Zakspeed Ford Capri (kit no. 24274) built straight from the box.

The kit was straight forward to build. The hardest thing was, as any one who has painted with gloss black knows, getting a dust free finish.

After two attempts, the modelling gods took pity and left me with a smooth black finish. The decals went on perfectly, and settled down after a few applications of decal softener.

Tamiya's Zakspeed Capri is a simple kit to build that looks great in the paint scheme from the German Touring Car Championships.
